Bio

Tiiu Ashcraft is a California native and an artist who received her B.F.A. from California State University, Long Beach in the area of Drawing and Painting. Tiiu is attending the M.F.A. program at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. While there she has had the opportunity to curate two major art shows for the National Alliance of Mental Illness, worked for professional figure and sculpture artists as an instructor on the human form and done several private commissions. Tiiu is currently working as a gallery assistant at a major gallery on the famous Newbury Street in Boston and as a Teaching Assistant in Drawing Department at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.
